Chapter Six

Hannah

Dean nearly sprints us back to the cabin. At one point, he’s moving so fast, it doesn’t even feel like he’s human—it reminds of a certain vampire who also races his girl through the woods, and I absolutely love it. I think I may love him.

I expect that thought to scare me, but it only makes me surer that spending the rest of the weekend here with him was the right call.

As soon as we return to the cabin, Dean sets me down and I quickly run up the stairs to his bedroom. The bed is perfectly cozy with flannel sheets and loads of pillows stacked on top of a plaid comforter; it screams secluded cabin in the woods, and I love it.

Dean rushes into the room behind me, abruptly turning me to face him and before I know it his lips crash into mine with a ferocity that takes my breath away. It makes me feel alive and like I’ve died and gone to heaven at the same time. My fingers tangle in his hair, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss

His hands slide down my back, pulling me against him, the heat of his body searing through my thin dress. I moan into his mouth, the sound swallowed by his kisses. Every touch, every caress, sets my skin on fire. I can feel the need in him, matching my own, driving us both to the brink.

“Are you really sure about this?” he asks, pulling his face away but still holding me close.

“Yes, I want you,” I say softly. I’ve never been more certain of anything.

A slow, predatory smile spreads across his face. "Good. Now, strip."

My fingers tremble slightly as I reach for the hem of my dress, pulling it over my head. Dean just watches, his gaze heating, as I kick off my shoes and strip off my socks until all I’m left in is my bra and panties.

“All of it, Honey,” he says, his voice a gravelly whisper. I follow his orders, reaching behind to unclasp my bra before letting it fall to the floor. I take a deep breath to steady myself before hooking my thumbs into the waistband of my panties and sliding them down. I stand before him completely bare—the first man I have ever let see me completely bare.

His face is filled with so much need it looks agonizing, but it gives him the confidence to step closer to him again. His hands come up to cup my face and he kisses me again. Softer this time, but no less intense. His hands move down, tracing my curves and making me shive with anticipation. He pulls back and locks his eyes with mine.

“You’re stunning, Honey. Just absolutely perfect,” he murmurs with a shuddering breath.

His words make me feel brave, so I lean into him, sliding my hands up his chest. “I want you see you too, Dean,” I whisper, my voice so quiet I’m not sure he can even hear me. “Please,” I croak out.
